I’m interested in the power of socially constructed learning, especially in online spaces. I can’t wait to learn and grow through this project!

And now.. a little bit about me. I’ve worked in education for almost 10 years with my humble beginnings in dance education. I’ve also worked as a third grade teacher, instructional specialist, regional coordinator, and administrator. Right now I’m working alongside Grant Wiggins to help teachers in Toledo implement the Understanding by Design Framework. It’s challenging and fun at the same time!

I was one of the original founders of the Edcamp movement, and I consider our team to be my “other family.” They are the best colleagues and friends a girl could have, and they all taught me the power of social, connected learning.
