This week has been a memorable one to say the least.  Monday afternoon just before bus dismissal, I was ambushed by my principal, the superintendent, executive officers, and fellow media specialists who announced that I am the 2013 library media specialist of the year!!  I was totally flabbergasted!

To add to the excitement, the ENO interactive whiteboard was installed on Thursday.  It works great and the students already LOVE it!

The newest tool out in cyber space I’m learning about this weekend is www.storybird.com.  This looks likes great place for students to creat their own Ebooks to share on the school website.  I know just the teacher to work with on this new way to share writing!
