Poisson Rouge

Poisson Rouge is a website that I found looking for engaging computer activities for my daughter (4 yrs old) and she loves it! The theory behind it is “No text, no instructions, but carefully designed visual environments and soundscapes…”. It really is great. I just showed it to our Upper School French teacher Katrina and she thought it was great for older language learners as well. It is a vast virtual make-believe world with math, science exploration, language skills all mashed together in a non-linear way that plays to a child’s way of looking at the world. Love to hear your thoughts! Could we make a version that works with material that would be developmentally appropriate for older students? It’s totally free but consider a donation if you find you are using it all the time like I seem to be.
