Another school year has finished and thoughts and plans for the next year begin ( yes, I am working over the summer). The upcoming school year will bring a new position and a new journey – one of Learning Coach. In taking on this role at Ecole St. Mary School, I am thrilled and excited at the possibilities it may create for myself and colleagues. My role as a Learning Coach will focus on increasing capacity learning by working side by side with teachers to improve instruction and design learning experiences that are accessible, effective and engaging for all students. As part of my year plans, I have decided to keep a blog as a means of documenting this new and exciting position. I am sure the year will be full of some great learning experiences for all that are involved and I look forward to the ride.
