I’m Greg, and I’m responsible for information technology at the Dalhousie University Medical School in Halifax, NS Canada.  I’m taking part in this MOOC for a couple of reasons.  One: to “feel” the experience of learning in this manner.  My education experiences have been fairly traditional in nature (classrooms, cases, exams, some on-line components) so I’m looking to live this experience to see its impact on me as a student.  Two: as a member of the administrative leadership of a medical school, I’m looking to grow my knowledge in the tools, processes and supports that might support our mission and that could be applied to our highly geographically distributed, regulated/accredited educational programs.
