Tell me EVERYTHING about you: What’s next in #QuantifiedSelf?:

…#clmooc reflection, interrupted. I’m guessing the Quantified Self, besides not having much privacy, may be less inclined to reflect and more restricted in opportunities. Can biometrics measure and identify a reflective state, if indeed the markers are uniform across the population?

Reflection should resemble meditation but assigned reflection on command reminds me of the typing teacher standing behind you saying, “Type faster.” “Relax.” “Type faster.” You don’t do either but do make a lot of mistakes, loath typing (until computer keyboards accustom you to it decades later). Fer shur, the experience is nothing like meditation.

Which state will biometrics show? Is this the future of InScape and Signals writ large.
